To provide legal and social support to the growing urban population, prioritizing the most vulnerable through a Reception Center.
-Teams of lawyers, social workers and interpreters through the “open door” policy implemented by GCR, accept requests from asylum seekers and refugees, referrals from UNHCR, other organisations and institutions.
-Providing legal assistance to asylum seekers and refugees at all stages of the asylum procedure and in other procedures related to their legal status.
-Providing legal advice and representation before services and authorities at all stages of the asylum procedure (first and second degree, family reunification procedure under the Dublin III Regulation).
-Providing legal advice and representation before the courts against 2nd degree rejection decisions (applications for annulment/suspension).

The programme supports 1,500 - 7000 people each year. Since 2016, more than 20,000 people have been supported through the programme. In 2024 it aims to support more than 1,400 people.
