Η Υπηρεσία Διερμηνείας είναι αρμόδια για την υποδοχή, εγγραφή και κατεύθυνση των εξυπηρετούμενων στη Νομική ή την Κοινωνική υπηρεσία του ΕΣΠ, ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες τους.

Interpreters are the initial point of contact for individuals seeking GCR's support and they are the ones, providing at first instance their services. In addition, Interpreters also inform beneficiaries about their rights concerning the protection of personal data and explain how they can evaluate the services provided by GCR.
Ειδικότερα, στις αρμοδιότητες της Υπηρεσία Διερμηνείας εντάσσονται τα παρακάτω:
To facilitate the communication between the beneficiary and the staff in an accurate and clear way, orally and sometimes, in written
To ensure immediacy and inspire confidence by first-person interpretation
To respect the confidentiality of what is being discussed.
To support other Units often by remote interpreting work.
First Reception and Interpretation Unit of GCR undertakes the first contact with beneficiaries. The interpreters, conveying the social-historical-cultural elements that characterize each case, contribute significantly to the orderly operation of the other two Services, while also participating in visits to detention centers, courts, hospitals, refugee accommodation facilities, etc. Interpreters are based in Athens and Thessaloniki, yet provide their services all around the country.
