Objectives
Strengthening support and assistance to third country nationals who are considered victims and trafficked persons
Partners will identify potential THB cases early on and carry out individual needs assessment to provide personalised support in P/VOT, taking into account the cultural background, age, gender and form of exploitation of each person approached.
α) Improve the integration of young and female third country nationals confirmed and potential victims of trafficking.
b) Capacity building for professionals supporting victims of trafficking.
c) Skills development and training of professionals to support trafficking victims at both national and European level.
Activities
Results
•Provision of risk assessment services to 270 people at risk of being trafficked; -
•170 P/VoT and 40 UASC will receive legal support.
•150 will attend empowerment and life skills workshops.
•40 P/VoT will be assisted in accessing the labour market.
•150 P/VoT and 40 UASC P/VoT will be assisted in accessing appropriate community services.
A methodology will be produced to deliver empowerment and wellness workshops developed and incorporated into anti-trafficking manuals of the Italian Red Cross (CRI), the Netherlands Red Cross (NLRC) and the British Red Cross (BRC);
•203 staff and volunteers in total will receive training
•290 professionals and volunteers potentially in contact with P/VOT will receive training.
Finally, actions will be developed to disseminate knowledge and good practices at national and European level maximising the impact and sustainability of the intervention.
