This project supports the operation of the Intercultural Centre “PYXIDA” of GCR by funding the provision of educational/pedagogical services as well as psychosocial services. More precisely, an educator provides Greek language lessons to refugees and asylum seekers, while coordinating the volunteer teachers of Greek. An early childhood educator arranges creative activities for children up to 6 years old and provides open lessons to parents, which guide them in better interacting with their children. Also, a social worker provides psychosocial services, such as issuance of documents, consultations, liaising with public services, etc.
