Objectives
The Pathways program aims to facilitate the integration of refugees and migrants into the Greek labor market through training, mentoring, and active employer linkage.
-Enhance employability skills via experiential training and recognition of qualifications.
-Foster confidence and professional identity through personalized career guidance.
-Facilitate access to employment opportunities via networking and partnerships with employers.
-Support long‑term integration through socio-legal assistance and ongoing tracking of progress.
Activities
Skills assessment & mapping:
One-on‑one sessions with a career counselor to identify formal and informal skills and interests.
Experiential skills workshops:
Vocational training and Greek language learning with practical modules simulating real work situations.
Personal action plan development:
Career plan co-created with participants to outline steps toward employment or further education.
Employer networking & placements:
Coordinated outreach to employers, CV presentations, job shadowing, and internships.
Referral to support services:
Linking participants to legal, psychosocial, and social welfare services as needed.
Ongoing monitoring & mentorship:
Regular check‑ins with mentors, progress evaluations, and adaptive planning.
Community events & dissemination:
Hosting workshops, webinars, and community outreach events to raise awareness and build networks.
Results
Within the framework of the project, a total of 222 individuals were supported through social and/or legal services.
-80 individuals received specialized support from the project team.
-35 people were assisted with accommodation and temporary housing.
-20 women benefited from professional counselling and vocational training.
-Over 300 frontline professionals were informed and trained in the methodology for identifying potential victims, developed by the project partners.
