In the context of the implementation of the project “Strengthening the Rehabilitation of Torture Victims in Greece – Prometheus II” (HOME/2014/PAVT/AG/6542)that Greek Council for Refugees and partner organisation Babel operate with the collaboration of the Medicine sans Frontiers, would like to invite professional directors and production companies with extensive relevant experience, to submit their offers for the production of a documentary, following the procurement process:

• The documentary should last between 25 and 45 minutes.
• The focus of the documentary will be on the beneficiaries of the Project – Victims of Torture – and the problems they face in terms of their rehabilitation and integration in Greece.
• The services provided by the implementing partner NGOs’ will be portrayed within the framework of the services provided in order to solve these issues, including the problems they face in their attempt to rehabilitate victims of torture, etc.
• The documentary should include: testimonies by Victims of Torture and a mapping of their daily life, interviews with relevant staff of the Project and a detailed account of their duties as well as interviews with experts in the field of integration and rehabilitation of VoTs. ενδεικτικά να περιλαμβάνει μαρτυρίες θυμάτων και παρουσίαση της καθημερινότητάς τους, συνεντεύξεις με το αρμόδιο προσωπικό και τα καθήκοντα που επιτελεί, συνεντεύξεις με ειδικούς στην αποκατάσταση και στην κοινωνική  ενσωμάτωσή των θυμάτων.

The documentary will be widely disseminated for purposes of raising awareness amongst the general public both on the demographics of refugees in Greece, but also on the plight they face in Greece. Also, the documentary will be used as a training tool for workshops targeted to health professionals, amongst others, in order to assist them in the efficient identification and rehabilitation of VoT.
