65 organizations, among which the Greek Council for Refugees, addressed the governments of EU member-states with a letter, calling them to relocate unaccompanied children, from the dangerous conditions of the camps on the Greek islands, which deteriorate under the corona virus pandemic, to Europe, while always safeguarding the children's best interests.
This letter follows another letter which was addressed to EU governments on March 4 2020, where the organizations drew attention to the imperative need of relocating children from the camps of the Aegean islands to EU countries.
