Οn Friday, November 9, about 50 students, aged 15-17, from the Escola Súnion school in Barcelona, visited the Elaionas hospitality structure as part of a school trip to Greece, and met with the refugee minors who stay at the Safe Zone which the Greek Council for Refugees εκεί.
The children shared a very interesting and educational experience, spending a very nice morning together, exchanging gifts and playing football! A big thank you to the students and professors from the Súnion school, for their interest and their initiative to visit Elaionas!
*The Greek Council for Refugees took over the Safe Zones in Elaionas, Attiki and Alexandreia, Imathia, with the support of the International Rescue Committee and with funding from European Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid Operations – ECHO in the fall of 2018.
