Το έργο υλοποιείται στην Περιφέρεια Δυτικής Ελλάδας με στόχο την υποστήριξη της ένταξης πολιτών τρίτων χωρών στην αγορά εργασίας και την ενίσχυση της αυτόνομης διαβίωσής τους, μέσω της λειτουργίας του Κέντρου HELIOS+ στην Πάτρα και της ανάπτυξης συνεργασιών με φορείς της τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης, επαγγελματικούς φορείς και επιχειρήσεις της περιοχής. Στο πλαίσιο του έργου υλοποιούνται δράσεις διασύνδεσης με την τοπική αγορά εργασίας, υποστήριξης της πρόσβασης σε κατάλληλη στέγαση και ενίσχυσης της συμμετοχής των ωφελούμενων στην τοπική κοινωνία, συμβάλλοντας στην προώθηση της κοινωνικής συνοχής και της βιώσιμης ένταξής τους σε περιφερειακό επίπεδο. Το Κέντρο HELIOS+ λειτουργεί συμπληρωματικά προς τις υφιστάμενες υπηρεσίες ένταξης της περιοχής, ενισχύοντας τη συνεργασία με τοπικούς φορείς και υπηρεσίες.

HELIOS+ services include:
Career Development and Employability Support
Strengthening and facilitating the access of HELIOS+ target group to the labour market, through group and individual sessions of career counselling, vocational training and networking with local employers;
-Access to Social and Public Services
Facilitating autonomous access to social and public services and monitoring the integration process of HELIOS+ target group through individualized and group support sessions;
Language and Communication Skills
Supporting HELIOS+ beneficiaries’ independent communication in the local society and workplace through Greek language courses;
Housing and Independent Living Support
Strengthening independent living in Greece by providing accommodation support to secure accommodation, including rental subsidies;
Community Engagement and Awareness
Raising awareness and strengthening the host communities and involved stakeholders at the local and regional levels through activities fostering social cohesion and cultural exchange.
By providing targeted support, HELIOS+ not only helps people integrate in the Greek labor market and the Greek society but also strengthens local communities and fosters a shared sense of belonging, while promoting the European way of life through inclusivity, cooperation, and sustainable growth.
