The Legal Service provides legal assistance to asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection (recognized refugees and beneficiaries). subsidiary protection), including unaccompanied minors, victims of violence, and human trafficking. Information on rights and obligations during the asylum process.
Legal assistance at every stage of the asylum process and during deportation/ return procedures.
Legal assistance for recognized refugees concerning their status and family reunification.
Legal representation in Greek and International Courts to protect the rights of asylum seekers and refugees.
Holistic rehabilitation services for torture victims, in collaboration with other organizations.
Counseling and support for victims of violence, including gender-based and racist violence.
Additionally, the Legal Unit participates in educational seminars, awareness campaigns, and institutional interventions to advocate for the rights of asylum seekers and refugees. In cooperation with national and international organizations and agencies, the service ensures effective and comprehensive support for refugees and asylum seekers throughout Greece.
