The GUARD project \u2013 Guaranteeing, Upholding And Respecting the rights of children at risk of Detention \u2013 aims to strengthen the protection of migrant children who are subject to or at risk of immigration detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The EU Pact on Migration and Asylum, adopted in 2024, introduces legislative changes which, when implemented at the national level, may undermine children\u2019s rights, particularly through accelerated procedures and the increased use of detention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
